Condition:

In good condition. A pea sized brown spot on the left side of the skirt. Three tiny grey smudges on the rear of the bodice. An orange pin dot on the front bodice (almost impossible to see). Little bit of marking on the satin at the underarms. A few tiny holes in the lining (not visible). Slightest hint of color variation on the satin. The bottom portion of the bow was tacked up… went to untaken it and realized that it is hiding a small tear in the bow underneath, so we have left it (tear is not visible this way and dress looks fine).

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT VINTAGE!!!

Before leaving feedback:

- The condition of VINTAGE items is a subjective opinion

- I point out any major flaws I see, I may not list inside flaws if they are not seen and don’t effect the wear-ability of the item, trivial missed minor flaws do not constitute misrepresentation.
- Cleaning is usually left up to the new owner.

- I dry clean items or I wash them if they really need it. So please expect to have to clean or at least steam your item, as they will be wrinkled from shipping.

- Vintage items will not look new please expects them to look previously worn and owned, some more worn than others.
- The absence of a label in a garment does not necessarily mean item was homemade, regardless. Vintage labels may have been removed by original owner or the tag’s threads age and tag is lost, torn out, etc.

Please read entire ad and double check before buying if you are not familiar with the issues of Vintage.

Dreaming is the one thing we can all do and—better yet—within the realm of dreams, there is no race, no color, no gender, nor creed. There is no time, no trends to follow. It’s in our dreams that we are all equal and we are all great. It is a place where we can all be in charge and create the future.Michael Jackson may have taught us never to say “goodbye,” but he also taught: never stop dreaming!

Michael Jackson saying : “In a world filled with  despair, we must still dare to dream, and in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe” and “Let us dream of tomorrow where we can truly love from the soul, and know love as the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation”

“Exactly 45 years later of the message (I have a dream), history has indeed repeated it self and Rev. King’s predicted dream has been fulfilled for the first time in the history of America. An African American (President-Elect Barack Obama) has been officially nominated as a presidential candidate in the United States of America”…….

Many of us fail in fields of activity in which we feel confident, but one day we unexpectedly succeed in a domain in which we had no idea we were good at.

Every individual is a source of unknown and unfulfilled possibilities.

We don’t have to live with ideas like “that’s all I can do and this is who I am” or “this is what I know, this is what I do”, we can definitely do more than we realize; all we need is a little more confidence and the will to surpass ourselves.

Many years ago, three pairs of breeding rabbits were taken to Australia. Today, there are millions, so many that they were declared as pests on a national level. The authorities have put up wire fences many kilometers long in order to stop them from invading the crop fields. As time passed, the rabbits evolved and now they have a claw that allows them to climb on the fences or go under them so that they can reach the fields that provide them with food. In their fight for survival they developed naturally the physical ability to overcome the obstacles.

The conclusion I want to draw from this story is that you must never let yourself get beaten only because your powers seem limited; you have to want more and do everything to achieve your goal. Learn, evolve, surpass yourself, have the desire to be the best.

I’m not saying it’s easy to surpass yourself, but once you’ve set a goal don’t be afraid of the fact that it’s hard to achieve it. Try to imagine that the thing you want is situated at the top a tall tower and the only way up is a spiral staircase so steep that when you walk on it you can only see one step at a time. But with every step you climb, the next one comes into view and so you climb step after step until you reach the top.

Dean Briggs – Harvard said: “Do your job. Not just what you have to do, but a little more, for the sake of giving. Even if you suffer, and you will surely suffer, do your job.  From your work and suffering, life’s greatest joys will rise.”

Dreamers have always been the saviors of the world.

People, going through tough times, are feeding on the dreamers’ vision.

Mankind cannot forget dreamers like Columbus, Copernicus and many others just like them, who imagined other worlds and one day they actually discovered them.

Also, the composer, the poet, the painter, the sculptor, the wise or the prophet, these are the creators, the architects of the world. Without them the world would die.

Maybe your present life is not as you expected, but it can change if you have a dream and do something to make it come true.

To want means to obtain. To have aspirations means to achieve them.

Your dreams are the seeds of reality. Today’s dreams are the promise of what you will become.

Are you convinced that dreams can come true?

Think that every great discovery was in the beginning and for a while only a dream.

So this is the moment to start mentally building a real life situation.

The dream combined with determination becomes the CREATING FORCE.

The will to act starts from realizing the fact that you CAN do it.

Doubt and fear don’t belong in your thoughts. If you can conquer doubt and fear then you beat failure and become a WINNER.

The above painting “Dreamer” (size is 30×24 cm or 12×9 inches) is available FOR SALE - If you are interested, please make a bid.
